The article discusses the issues of the knowledge management system and its functions. The classification of the main approaches to the definition of the concept of “knowledge management”. Analyzing the main approaches and the essence of the organization of knowledge management, a polemic of this concept is given. The article also highlights the main functions and principles of knowledge management.
