The article presents the results of studying the quality of titanium-containing coatings applied to samples and full-scale details of stop valves. The morphological features and causes of the heterogeneity of the chemical composition of the coating are shown. The results of obtaining full-scale products from steels 95X18 and 45 coated with titanium nitride for life tests of stop valves are presented.
